Gunbot uses API keys from your trading exchange, two sets of keys are needed for a basic setup. Lets now have a look at one of Gunbot’s most popular exchanges and how to manage your API keys. Log into your Binance account. Click or hover your account icon in the drop down menu click API Management.
Give your first set of API keys a name and click create.
An account security check will pop up and give you some options to verify your account ownership. Fill in the option that best matches your use case.
Once you have verified your ID you will be taken to your newly generated API key set.
Copy your API key and Secret key and record them in a safe place. (secure usb device recommended) ensure the boxes labelled “Can Read” and “Enable spot & Margin Trading” are both checked.
After creating your second API key set click Edit restrictions.
Uncheck the box marked Enable Spot & Margin Trading then save. One last security check and your all done your Gunbot API creation.
CONGRATS! when your done you should have two API key sets ready to run your Gunbot license.
