We will now look at how to create your Gunbot Telegram notification system. its super easy, just follow our steps. (Telegram bot is built into Gunbot)
If you dont have a Telegram account go ahead and start by creating your account, you can use mobile desktop or web for your telegram account. (recommended Desktop app and or mobile app.)

Once you have your Telegram account set up open the mobile app or desktop app and log in.
In the search box type “BotFather” (make sure to click the correct one) clicking on BotFather will open a chat page.
You can type /help or just a ” . ” to see the bots options. Type /newbot and hit enter.
Enter a the name you want to give your bot, hit enter to continue.
Now give your bot a user name and hit enter, this will create a token key for your bot, this should be stored in a safe secure place. You will need this token for Gunbot config later on.
You have now created and copied your bot token to a safe secure place. Now lets gather the rest of the information and create a group we need to get Gunbot working with your new bot. Go to your account settings and click new Group.
You will then be asked to name your new group. fill in the name and click next.
This is where you will add your new bot created above. Simply copy and paste your bots name in the search box and click create.
This is your new group now with your new bot added. Just one more step and we have everything we need to be running and making those gains.
while inside your group chat, click on the options button in the top right to open your group options. We are going to add the IDbot to our group temporary so we can get our user ID and group ID. Click the add user button.
Type in the search box ” idbot ” and select the correct one. Click add.
Type /getgroupid and copy your group id to the same place you put your bot token. Next type /getid and copy that down as well, you can remove IDbot when you get this info. That’s it you now have your Gunbot telegram bot set up and everything you need to set up your gunbot to use Telegram for Gunbot notifications and options.
